Question

hey guys iv e got a STI 7 full decat 3"internal ...downpipe and 4in1 headers boost controled br a gready E01 controller runnong 17 psi ...does anyone think that a front mounted intercooler would help the performance much in other words is it worth spending on...any help is appreciated

It's a good idea as a 'safety mod' in hot climates, even before you start thinking of anything to do with power! Which it should also help, yes.
If I were you (or rather, if I were where you are ) it's be the first mod I did.

If you do fit a front mount, make sure the kit includes alloy pipework and not simply silicon hoses.
I have noticed the kits supplied with the soft silicon hoses loose a lot of turbo boost by simply "inflating" the hoses, so ensure the kit has the proper ones with small silicon "joiner" hoses between the alloy pipes. That way, you wont loose the boost you need.

Must say I haven't noticed that problem - but then I haven't done a comparison of the same IC with rigid pipework so maybe I'm losing out
