Hi All,
I´m just wondering if it´s possible,to put on a 18G exh.house on a TD05 to gain more topend?
I saw a post on the MRT bbs, were someone said that the IHI exh.house can just be changed, without modifications to the wheel.
Or what needs to done to make more top end?
All info would be great,
Skassa

Hi Skassa,
I believe you mean IHI P18 exhaust housing. "18G" is the designation of a rather natty MHI compressor wheel.
I suspect there would be a fair bit of machining required to fit an MHI TD05 core onto an IHI P18 exhaust housing, but it may be possible. However, I would be very suprised if a (small) P18 housing would be any better for top end than the TD05's own (larger, IIRC) hot side.
