Im finally ready to take off the restriction kit for my scoob - standard exhaust

I would like more noise but not silly amounts....but mostly i want as much power as poss with it still passing the MOT.
Can i remove the larger cat and still pass it?
What system would you reccomend...Cheers all

I have a 99 turbo and because i do a lot of motorway miles didn't want something over the top so i went for a TSL Group N back box and de-cat center sec, sounds awesome, not over the top but enhances the duga duga sound (plus it pops and bangs) once i get it MOT'd i will be going back for the Group a downpipe.

I went from a Magnex 3.5" backbox to a full Magnex decat with the non-resonated centre. Even though there was a noise increase, it wasn't major. The car just sounded more raw. There are gains to be had off just the centre, but the real power is in the downpipe.

As Brun say's, removing the downpipe cat really unleashes the beast. However i was very very pleased with the decat centre and back box. still makes me smile when i start her up. Power wise not really sure but it is deff. better.
