Are my differentails working fine?
#1
Recently I had to negotiate a very tight hairpin up a ramp in my STI8, half way round the left rear wheel lifted off the ground, no problem you would have thought as the combination of differentials would shift the power to the right rear and the front, swiftly pulling the car up the steep hill.
But... the car stood still and the raised wheel simply spun faster and faster as more throttle was applied, after two attempts it took a push off my son to get the car up the hill.
Should this of occurred?

What were you expecting? Your car has limited slip diffs in it, not locking ones. If the slope was steep enough, you'd need lockable diffs to prevent this sort of thing happening with one wheel completely off the ground...
