There's plenty been written on this, so the search button will no doubt yield a wealth of info.
Green or K&N are the safest, thanks to their very low oil levels. Suggest you avoid the ITG Performance Panel as there are plenty of instances of the gunk on these coating the MAF sensor, and making it misread.
