I am about to replace gaskets either side of my TD04L (97 WRX) due to leaks (no thanks to RGS Motorsport of Wellingborough!!).
As the d/pipe and uppipe are to be undone , I have the opportunity and availability to swap the 80,000 mile turbo with a UK MY99 TD04L with 40,000 miles on it.
Doe anyone know if the TD04L n JDM and UK cars was exactly the same in terms of deisgn/whees or actuator operating boost. The UK actuator is opening at about 0.7 bar if that helps.
