I went for a drive this morning and I noticed a crunch when changing from 5th to 4th.
It only happens when changing very quick.
Are thos the syncro's that can't follow my speed or is it the beginning of the end ?

It's the sychro going and it will get worse - in other words, at lower and lower revs. Does it just happen at say, 5000? Over about 2 or 3 months that speed will come down and you will crunch at anything above 3000... Are you under warranty? No problem if you are.....

The crunching sound is obly at high revs and when downshifting for 5 to 4.
And then only when changing extremely quick, so quick that it is very difficult to perform this twice...

If out of warranty try some decent oil,eg :Redline shockproof,Castrol maybe?
