i have recently fitted a vf24 to my uk my00 full exhaust tech2 cold air kit woah the boost is strange to say the least it rockets to 1.4 and then goes down to 1.0 up and down up and down it is not so bad in the lower gears but the higher gears are a knightmare
so i was thinking could i fit a dawes set it to 1.25 (and drive it carefully in warm weather and sitting in trafick when the tempurture rises) so that the boost is more consistent
i am hoping that jb respods to this post

Yes you could, but there are big issues. The ignition will probably be too advanced for running a VF24 at 1.25 bar midrange, with probably little taper at the top end. Fuelling would probably be OK unless your cold air setup has a bend before the MAF to go into the wing.
So you would need a knocklink and AFR meter to set it up. If it dets, run less boost or add octane, or retard the ignition temporarily with Delta Dash or permanently with a remap.
