Unhappy

Just picked up My95 WRX import on Thurs night. Fri morn and afternoon had a little trouble starting, revs dipped and cut out a couple of times and 'check engine' light came on. A mate of mine said it maybe caused by the AFR meter that came with the car, it's an Apexi one. I don't really know much about it and what to set it to.

Any ideas?

You'll find an air flow meter from circa £240 - £350 depending where it is sourced, stock & availability. These babies are not cheap & unlike the 99/00 models you have to replace the whole housing unit (not just the meter)

Tks greasemonkey, only problem is, I'm pretty clueless as to mechanics and technical car stuff in general. Where is the ECU and how do I get to it. Are there any instructions anywhere on here so I can check this?
