I am now having a '96 WRX still with the small/slanted i/c and thinking of upgrading to a later bigger WRX edition i/c.

Now have full decat, Unichip and 1 bar boost i.e. 260 hp.

Would the bigger i/c increase power and if so by how much?

Plsd to hear.

If it reduces charge temperature, yes. How much depends on how much it reduces charge temp.

Depending on your boost control method and the amount of pressure drop change, you may need to remap boost too.
