Question

Fitted a Ninja back box last night.
The pipe into the rear silencer (near the bend) is quite close to the passenger side rear driveshaft.
What is acceptable clearance?
The whole system seems to have very little movement in it so I think it will be ok - piece of mind required though.
Also what is acceptable amounts of play in the bush holding the central driveshaft in place in the middle?

You should have a minimum of about 20mm to ensure that it wont hit when you go over a bump.

Pottsy,

Just my personnel opinion, I would say 20mm is a little excessive. You will know if it rubs as you will hear it. Dont worry about it untill you do hear it catching! Mine used to rub, on hard cornering, just adjusted with a little help of a hammer!!

Cheers people, set my mind at rest a bit as it doesn't sound to rub (even when navigating hump back bridges) :-)
Any ideas on the central drive shaft mount? I guess that is what you would call it.

When i fitted my firestorm it was really close to the d/shaft.

But, had it on for nearly a week, been over some bumpy roads, and it's not hit yet, just a very snug fotting me thinks.
