Has anyone put on of these systems onan STi 8, or going too?

Or would you advise to use something else or nothing at all?

Wink

A friend of mine who is a member on here, allows his car to be the test car for K+N and he got the typhoon fitted FOC. But he noticed at motorway speeds his car was running way to lean and removed it.

They can be mapped to suit your car but the time taken against the gains you get are not worth it.

Stick to a quality panel filter as these things allow way too much air in, naffing up the fueling on your car.

I think the typhoon re-locates the filter to inside the front wing like the APS kit does so that's probably why it suffers from exactly the same lean running probs as the APS.

Surely the job of the ECU, MAF and O2 sensor is to adjust the air/fuel mixture to suit.
