Quick question. Was having this talk with someone and he said the engine out of a 5 door will fit into a 4door. Is this true?

He said the back was different (obviously) but he wasnt sure if a 5 door bonnet could fit onto a 4 door car. I wasnt sureof the measurements either. Anyone know?

Sorry for putting it in drivetrain but the main question was the engine swap

AFAIK they are identical from the drivers door forward, including the engine.

From: Leeds - It was 562.4bhp@28psi on Optimax, How much closer to 600 with race fuel and a bigger turbo?

compression ratio may be different..

bonnet, wings etc all the same.. rear lights are different apparently.. Roof different, quarter panels are different, suspension hubs etc the same..
