Unhappy

continuing the curse put on my WRX by my disgruntled gti-r(it's the conclusion i've come to)..

My radiator has been rubbing against the aircon rad and has today gone through the plastic end of the rad and started leaking

anyone got a decent one in Kent area?, I'm desperate

Rang loads of breakers and can't find one. Grade A want £100+vat+delivery, as I'm skint from £300 bill last week I need a cheaper alternative.

Cant find the thread mate, but over teh last couple of days someone posted that they had bought one for less than £100 2nd hand..
Recon ones are £140 IIRC

Rob

If it is any good to you i may have a spare plastic end tank which you could get fitted by a rad co.

cheers Rob, found the thread.

Seems it was the same as this guys problem, checked mine again and the end tank had splits in it and one has gone through right where the rads are touching.

If you get stuck there are some very good sealants that will help you out until you source a rad.
Although this is not to be taken as an answer, a friend of mine has been using his car for 6 months with 'leak fix' on a hole in his end tank...
I keep teliin him it will leak soon
