New to this modding lark but I must say I like it! I bought a standard MY00 in feb this year and now it boasts TSL phase 3 suspension (eibach springs, geometry set up and power flex rear anti roll bar drop links) centre de-cat and group-N backbox, dump valve, Green panel filter, Speedline alloys with Toyo proxies t1-s’s and braided brake hoses. It sounds better and runs a touch quicker but I now have the ‘bug’ and want to push to the 300bph mark. I’m thinking of getting the AP organic clutch fitted as the present one is going to need replacing soon anyway, motec has come into the equation but how much does this cost? I have about £2500 to spend, I want my car to be a ‘touch’ quicker still but not put too much strain on the original engine as it is my primary car and is used every day so needs to be pretty reliable, any ideas?

Down pipe and induction kit then turbo.

TD05 front entry will do the job nicely and not cost too much. With the rest get a front mounted intercooler, fuel pump and fuel pressure regualtor - Then a remap of course.

When buying a TD05, what else do you need to fit along side it? Other than the remap.

Any idea of costs?

The TD05 conversion can be quite costly!! Ive been finding out about this and the labour side is stupid!

You need:

Buy the TD05 - about £160 from scrappy i think
Get it converted front entry - about £130
Then it depends on the model of the car. On MY95 i needed to look at spacers on the manifold and im sure there were a couple of other things.

It can be a pain in the **** but its definitely meant to be worth it

Just need to find out more info!

There is a topic in the projects forum which i posted which some of the guys here posted some interesteing info - have a read
