I was going to say I thought the lower figure is more realistic. Double contact patch inflates the losses. I lost virtually all faith in rolling roads ages ago. I thought people would get bored with me banging the same old drum

I guess centering the rollers correctly changes things too. I was at Well Lane 5 on Sunday, the first time I've seen a 4 wheel dyno in action and was surprised at the difference moving the rollers made to measured power (I think one of the early cars picked up 20 bhp from a half inch movement). I would guess that most of that would appear as transmission loss?

All,
I've been to a few RR sessions now, & at vaious locations & regularly see transmission losses of around 90bhp for my scoob.
Today, however, the transmission losses were only 67bhp.
I found this surprisingly low...
What are your thoughts?
Chris
268 lbs/ft Torque
210 bhp @ Wheels
277 bhp @ Fly
(due to low load rollers only boosting to 15psi - normally see 17psi on road)
Edited to add :
No Monkey Business with fiddling tyre pressures etc. to try to hike the results
