JUMPING CLUTCH PEDEL!!!

I HAVE A 93 LEGACY TURBO IT HAS HAD A COMPLETE NEW CLUTCH AND SPIGOT BEARING THE CLUTCH WORKS FINE NO SLIP BUT SOMTIMES WHEN I RELEASE THE PEDAL IT COMES UP FINE AND WHEN I TAKE MY FOOT OFF IT SOMTIMES JUMPS UP AN INCH LIKE ITS STICKING CANT BE CABLE COS ITS HYDRYLIC ANY IDEAS!!

Mine does the same.. I believe it is in the pedal mechanism..

You can adjust the clutch travel with a couple of spanners.. try adjusting the pedal travel..

Mine is only occasional but it is strange as I lift my foot off and then the pedal springs up tapping the bottom of my foot..

This is how to set the clutch pedal:

There is a bolt at the top of the pedal assembly to adjust the pedal height, it should be 145mm from the pedal rubber to the floor, you will need two 14mm spanners.
Behind the pedal is a rod that joins the pedal assy to the master cylinder, undo the locknut on it 12mm spanner and turn the rod with the flats on it with a 6mm spanner to achieve 10-15mm freeplay at the pedal rubber.

I have also added a spring to my pedal to ensure it completly returns each time.

Mind you if you paids somewhere to fit the clutch.. take it back and moan?! then they should adjust it..

i fitted it myself so cant moan thanx 4 the advice will get the spanners out and adjust it nice one thanx
