Unhappy

Hello all

My MY00 Sport Special has caused me some grief this weekend. I tried to remove the second cat, only to find that Subaru, in all thier wisdom have fabricated the exhaust to have both cats in a single pipe. Now is this just me or is that stupid?

Surley NOT a good thing as if one cat goes wrong then you have to fork out for both to be replaced? Oh well, I'm just going to wait until I can afford to have both removed!

Can anyone shed some light on this? As in why they have done this, and is it just my model or is this the case on the Turbos as well?

Cheers,
Dave

The turbo's have two cats, but in different section of pipe, I can't see why subaru put 2 cats in one pipe, strange!
