Can anyone tell me what happens to the Lambda Sensor and whether the performance of it is affected when a de-cat down-pipe is fitted? My car is a MY00 UK Turbo.

I also have MY00 with a Scoobysport decat downpipe, the lamda sensor is fitted in the new downpipe as before ... is this what you meant by what happens to it?
If you mean how is its operation effected by the cat removal, it does the same as it did before, measures the O2 content in the exhaust gases.
I haven't noticed any difference with the car running any leaner, the AFR reads the same and the knocklink hasn't registered anything wrong.

Cat is after the Lambda sensor so it doesn't effect it..
