Question

Pressure switch delivered today for my DIY waterspray.

I plan on utilising the headlight washer relay (timed one) so as not to go OTT with the spray - that side is no problem as i'm totally comfortable with electrics etc.

But i don't know where to tee the pressure switch in (pneumatically). I have a boost gauge on the spare port of the manifold, so i guess thats out of the question .

I'm thinking of the pipe on the manifold that goes to the MAP sensor etc. Or should i tee it off the boost gauge hose in the cabin?

Oh and i want to minimise any possible, ahem, 'blow-off' moments.

Cheers

Iain

Why can't you tee into the boost guage line? The sensor won't bleed a significant amount of pressure away to affect your boost readings IMHO.

Ian,

I don't think it will, I had my Defi Boost Gauge and Blitz TT with digital boost function off the same vacum hose, had no probs with the readings.....

Can't for the life of me remember where I put the t-piece for my Aquamist tho

Whatever you choose, don't use the fuel pressure regulator feed. Too easy to melt pistons if something fails.
