water troubles

Not with me but the car.
Fitted a full set of samcos due to a split top hose the other day, Filled up the engine running and replace cap and then filled up the expansion thingy behind the headlight.
The car has been going fine since, Then i noticed a small leak on the LHS side of the car, When investigated it was coming from the thingy behind the headlight. I just thought that the water level was to high an that it wasnt a prob, but today i was having a play with a bike on the way back from B&Q, Pulled up into drive way and left engine running as per norm, looked under car and coolant was pi****g out from the thing behind the headlight again, Is this because i have filled the water to higher or what.
I have pressure tested the coolant syatem to 1.8bar and there are no leaks and also done a headgasket test and this didnt so up any probs of gasses getting into the coolant

The "thingy" behind the head light is the "expansion" tank. So, if you fill it up, then go for a blat, and water from the rad' is sent to it, it's got nowhere to go.
So long as the "header" tank is filled to the correct level, there's no need to add to the expansion tank.
Mark.
