This only started on Saturday

It doesn't happen when cornering at normal speeds, but whilst really pushing it and loading up the suspension on left hand turns there is a clonking sound from the front right wheel, every wheel revolution. I couldn't re-create the knocking all the time with hard cornering, and when I could it would range from a slight knock to full on clunking

I am pretty sure the wheel isn't rubbing on anything as these wheels have been used when cornering on the bumpstops at various trackdays, and are OE 16".

Could it be driveshaft / CV joint related?
Could it be wheel bearings?

Everything is fine in normal driving conditions, your thoughts please

Thanks

Justin

I've had this a couple of times when I've shown people how to drive properly, I too am at a loss, I thought it was my brakes at first but now you've raised some other good and more expensive theories.
Anyone???

Check your exhaust manifold in case you have cheanged some exhaust parts.
This is rare but possible as in my case!
