I'm considering selling my 2.5 engine when built, either complete with heads etc, or as a short engine with the heads back on my Sti5 engine.
Spec as follows:
EJ25 block, bored to 100mm, closed deck (by welding), cryogenically treated, plateau honed and decked.
Std EJ25 crank, cryogenically treated.
Lateral Performance Billet Rods
Custom spec JE pistons (supplied by lateral performance)
Raised compression ratio (8.5 to 8:8:1 depending on final setup)
Lead/copper heavy duty bearing shells
Ported Sti heads (valve seats also re cut)
Sti underbucket shim followers
SMG profile cams
SMG valve springs, retainers and seats
Full head stud conversion
Ported inlet manifold and throttle body
850cc injectors
Uprated oil pump
The whole engine fully built for £5000 ono. Built short engine alone £3000.
Not for sale yet, but I could be persauded if someone offered the money. I'm tired of it all, and can't justify having all that money in the car, and needing to spend more to finish the job properly. I don't know how Adam does it, actually I do, he's stayed single!

Sorry to hear that Paul.... you say your tired of it all. Much the way i feel at the moment after yet another bit of the car going missing. I really do fancy going for a nice EVOII Integrale...... the thieving scally *******s haven't a clue what they are so might leave it alone.

Adam think of the figures like this:
BHP equivalent to Vital Statistics
Petrol equivalent to Shopping Sprees
Driveability equivalent to Performance in/on/under/over the sheets
Car problems - The time of the month
See women are exactly like cars...........expensive, unpredictable, volatile etc but find a good one, pleasure all the way

Golly Gosh we could start some new phrases:
My birds a heavy weight (4x4)
My birds a beauty, but no brains (Ferrari)
My birds a real goer (SCooby)
You could have loads Adam absoulute loads, as long as they are not kept in the same garage!!!
