Which one, which model, what problems are you having, do a search.
If it is the one I think you are talking about it is off the compressor outlet and shifts the control bandwidth of the 2 port solenoid so that the ECU can control boost between 8 and about 20 PSI depending on car. You can alter rate of boost rise by altering the restrictor size and solve boost spikes.
