After going through hell trying to fix my 95wrx ra. Im deciding whether or not to purchase a new pair of heads (actually 2nd hand).My only problem is that how can i tell whether the heads are uk spec or jap (sti/wrx etc)I no that the jap heads have bigger cams and later heads have solid tappets, Ive used my vernier to measure my old 95 heads (valves diameter, cam bearing dia etc)What i really need no is a local parts supplier(breaker) has a pair of 97 heads complete but he is not sure whether their uk or jap. Does any one no the dimensions i should be looking for when i have a closer look at the heads.

 

Just to throw a spanner in the works..
Ive just rebiult my 93WRX and it has solid lifters..
