just had the box dropped on my sport and a new clutch fitted,but i am a bit concerened that the gear stick is flapping around a bit... never did it before, also selector for Hi Low ratio is also quite slack . needs to be higher before engaging........

i am wondering if it is just bush or summit that it is needing or do you think it might be more likely to be a broken mounting.......car going back tomoz anyways but was just interested to see if any 1 else has experianced this.......:

Unsure about your year of car, but some 'boxes have an external spring for the lever return.( To allow self centering of lever to 3rd/4th gear positiion).
