Im in the process of deciding whether to go full decat of my My02 WRX.

I currently have a HKH hiper cat back with a link pipe.

What up-pipe & down pipe do you recommend.

Is is true that an up-pipwe & downpipe without a remap can cause your turbo to go??

Yeah,I do have the O2 fix on my car.I have the one from MRT Rally and it works very well!!
Me and a mate both have this "O2 Sensor Defender" from MRT and so far,the CEL hasn't come on since having it installed. (His car is full Scoobysport system without up-pipe,mine full decat with up-pipe)Unlike the Scoobysport one this CEL fix mounts underneath the car rather than directly onto the ECU!!
Jap Innovations can supply em for around the £35 mark and they only need four wires to be soldered.....

Gimme a shout if you need any more details?

Pete - don't want to hijack the thread but would appreciate an idea of price (too lazy to phone!) for supply and fitting of up and down pipes to an 02 WRX (very interested and pursuading myself that the warranty issues are nominal, could be unlucky I guess). This would be connecting to PPP backend and ECU.

Have a Scoobysport up and downpipe on my 01.Makes a BIG difference to performance.In fact,had mine on the rollers last year up at Well Lane,Batley and it pulled 262bhp with an ITG panel filter and full Scoobysport decat.
Anyway,I got your text on Saturday night and sent you one back on monday morning.Thought we had a deal on the dump valve or are you keepin it now?? (Or did the other fella come for it?)

Edited to say that I've heard of no probs with a full decat and std ecu.I'm sure there are plenty of guys on here who have gone down the same route as me and guess Scoobysport wouldn't sell the exhaust system without forewarning people!!
