We put on the Blitz Nur Spec R system but i couldnt see any bung on it that everyone is talking about???

I looked through the whole system and didnt see anything. Where is it? Or am i confusing myself with another exhaust system!

 

The bung as a foot long inset that slides perfectly inside the tailpipe. I believe it is only supplier with the NUR Spec R system (centre rear section) and not just the rear box. It had the efect of damping the boomyness of this very loud system. Hope this is of help to you.

 

If it was like mine, the Bung is Pre-Fitted, look at your exhaust pipe, it may look like an "exhaust within an exhaust" if you see what I mean

Unscrew the thing, take the bung out and let hell break loose

I had mine on for a year before I realised it had a bung in!! If your in any doubt look at the underside of the tailpipe if you can see a nut you've got a bung.

Took mine out and haven't stopped

Ross i have got the whole system so thats why i was looking for the bung but couldnt see anything! lol

STI man, i understand the exhaust in the exhaust thing. I looked under the tail pipe, where is says Blitz Nur Spec R and there is a nut. So if i unscrew that, what comes off?

So your telling me if i take it off, its going to be even louder!!! Ive got a Scoobysport downpipe on it and was shocked at how loud it already was!!!

So do you guys have bung in or out?

 

Yes Money, unscrew the 10mm bolt (take it out), reach in to the can and pull the little pipe within the pipe.This is the "bung" Not only sounds better, looks better cause doesnt look like a HUGE exhaust trim. (family sized baked bean can!!) Have fun.
I feel sorry for all the dogs in your road, youll have their ears bleeding. One other thing...Make sure you are on good terms with your neighbours! Before you remove it.
