I need help deciding what to do next with my MY99 UK turbo. What i need to know is will my car pass its MOT with decatted centre section only? decatted downpipe only? or both removed? I assume it wont pass with them both removed so which one will it pass with if im to leave one on? What kind of power/noise gains am i to expect?

The car will pass with just the one cat fitted, this being the cat centre pipe.

However you might as well get both cats replaced for more benefits and come the MOT, just stick the cat centre pipe back on, shouldn't take too long to replace OR find a friendly MOT centre!!!

Just had my downpipe and centre section replaced, the car is like a new car, sound is awesome and you can tell that a fair bit of bhp has been added!!!

Hi

Down pipe and Back box should give gains of around 15-20 bhp more(most gained from down pipe), and sounds much better.
I have a Scoobysport downpipe and back box for sale off a MY99 if you are interested

Cheers
Phil
