Hi peeps

Anyone know how to install a HKS AFR?

Been looking at HKS's instructions on line but I don't know what colour the wires are onthe ECU I need to intercept

the wire for the lambda signal is a fat white wire with silver stripes. this is the wire that the unit will read the mixture from.

is yours a 4 plug ecu, ie older car 1994 etc? if so, can tell you which plug and pin number the wire is in.

Its the middle top wire on the large plug next to the smallest plug. Its as said, the white one.

yeah, as katana says, plug B43, pin number 6.
first pin is empty, so 5th wire along.

Cheers

Does the power wire have to be wired to ecu wiring? or just any switched live?

Also I've got a HKS system and HKS induction and want to run 1 bar, any ideas what setting on the AFR would be suitable?

any switched live will do, my afr is on a switch live other than ecu too, works fine.
as for the afr, not familiar with the hks one. if its an led type, then all greens on full throttle should do.
scoobies run really rich from the factory anyway, and i dont think 1bar should be a problem.
