I have a magnex 6x4 b/b and center section with a k&N 57i filter and it turned out 250bhp and 234 ib/ft torque on the R/R.
Thats 32bhp over stanard more with a down pipe.
hope this helps.

I'm assuming silver:scooby that your +32bhp is based on new Rolling road figure versus quoted power output? Sorry, but IMHO I doubt you will have actually got 32bhp from centre, backbox and filter, Barge/ninja's figures seem more likely to me.

If you check out the dyno site, you'll find one completely standard MY97 made 248bhp at Power Engineering, 230-235 is common, so I'd guess your exhaust and filter has given you more like +15bhp.

I have to say that only big problems come from raising the boost without proper control. Why would my car (SAME CAR) produce a proven safe and reliable 289bhp and 286lbft if that wasn't true Paul?

Alan, are you saying that your car got those figures from just an exhaust and filter?

I've got a my98 with a filter and full de-cat. A large difference in driving performance was noticed but not sure about bhp
