Hi,
I have a problem with the diff on my 96 STi Type R/A.
Basically, I don't know any more than the dashboard indicator light is flashing. It appears to be locked in the 64/35 position, fairly sure its not locked 50/50 as it is fine at low speeds and is driving a bit RWD as most R/As seem to.
I have cjecked the wheely switch thing, but that seems ok.
Has anyone got any ideas?
thanks,
simon

we have had this happen a few times on the rally cars, what we found was that the wiring going into the diff itself was damaged or perished. The diff can be removed with the box still in the car to check this.

Will get it on the ramp and check it on monday; wasn't quite sure where to start apart from checking the switch.

thanks
