i have an sti v3 i am trying to locate the kmh/mph converter - i have noticed tubing with orange end caps coming from the top of the gearbox just notciable from behind the turbo - this tube runs into a black disc and then cablings runs from this into the bulkhead.

I think the converter is faulty and want to replace it , the speedo is mechaincal clock type inside the car not electronic am I looking in the right place ?

thanks

Hi Lumby, on my 93WRX the converter is halfway down the speedo cable under the b/m/cylinder but I think its a small gearbox converter,i.e. no wires attached. Hope this may help
regards,
Andy.Scoobynut.

Lumby,

If you're still having problems, drop me an email and I'll send you some piccies - I fitted one to my STi3 a couple of months ago.

Kevin.
