fitted it today, take it for a test drive, and now instead of silence when lifting off the accelerator, I get a pathetic Squeak.

Question

U sure you fitted correctly? I've got a Forge Re-Circ on my MY99 STI-V and it makes more than a squeak!!

Got a forge atmo valve on my RB5 - dumps air so fast you don't get that annoying drawn out "TIIIISSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHH" of the Renault 5 Turbo crew - you only really notice it when changing gear under extreme boost......and then it certainly adds to the drama..... certainly more efficient than the standard re-circ valve too.

You have the wrong colour spring. Ring forge for a weaker one.

The Forge does make a rather pathetic noise with any spring I find, but with the red spring on my turbo it works well.

Note ON MY TURBO - a red spring would possibly destroy compressor wheels on some turbos.

I had a re-circ on my STI V with a Blitz filter. Just nice to hear it but not too intrusive IMHO
