Question

Hi, having been a silent folower of Scoobynet for som time I have a question I am hoping someone can help me with. I have a STI4 and was wondering if I would see any improvements if I fitted a UNI-Chip and boost controller and if so who would you recommend I get it from/mapped

Had a unichip and HKS evc4 boost controller fitted to my uk MY00 last year. Gained about 40bhp and about 40lb/ft. Was very impressed with the results and never had any probs with the car since having the work done (15k miles).
Went for Unichip+evc4 as they were highly recommended by people on this bbs, and wasn't dissapointed.

The work was done at Powerstation in Cheltenham, and they spent alot of time getting the set-up perfect (very smooth power delivery, no glitches on the graph). All told cost about £1100 including a fuel cut defencer.

Hope this helps,

Steve
