Hi, first post so apologies if I'm not all that clear...

I've got an MY00 UK spec turbo, only mod is a Scoobysport backbox. I've noticed that at full throttle I don't appear to have much/any boost (no boost gauge so no actual figures) . There's not as much induction noise either. At half throttle all seems normal. I've recently switched to SUL (can't find Optimax round my neck of the woods!) and I've cleaned out the boost solenoid and pipes but there's been no change. I've not reset the ECU although I plan to do that this week.

My current thinking is wastegate because I don't seem to be getting any of the "steam-train" whistle that I've been told to expect from a dodgy dump-valve.

Does this problem sound familiar to anyone?

While I'm here, can anyone recommend a decent boost gauge?
