Question

A question to all of those with an FMIC, Is it possible to sucessfully run a FMIC with the standard turbo on a UK car and get good results or is it a must to get a big turbo aswell? I know you need a remap at the same time as fitting the FMIC but is it a bad idea to fit the FMIC without a turbo upgrade?

IMHO my car ran fine, in fact very well with the standard TD04 and the APS FMIC on it. It was only 4 weeks though before the link ecu went in.

I was running the standard ecu as well, no remap on that, plus full decat and induction.

Ran very well,.

Supose it just depends on your ultimate goal really!

i am thinking of a FMIC for my scooby (my00 prodrive). I can't decide which one to go for, hks, blitz, aps or pace. Sujjestions on which is best. I have hks system (decated) and a hks induction kit already on.
