Here's the sound from my Nurspec R, on an STi7.

Be warned they are much louder than you can possibly imagine.

Here

**** !!! Do you live an awfully *long* way from your neighbours? I can imagine mine calling the cops as soon as they heard that coming from my scoob !

Nice one, you lucky sod !

A pic of the xhorst face on would be nice as well (hint).

lol Frenchie, ok you have given me reason to pimp my car again

And yes I do have to run it with the bung for 90% of the time, 800 miles a week with that noise would deafen me.

Bottom pic chucked in for no reason other than pose factor

Vanker, just give the top of the bung a little bend/tweak and it stops the rattle.

Nur Spec R is awesome! suffice to say I have one on my MY94 WRX Wagon. Loud? umm, just slightly! but you get a bung with it, which does tone it down a bit, but why would you want to do that

ahhh, memories of my car and 555 Markus's STi Type UK on the IOW, both with Nur Spec R's both making a lot of noise! ahh, bliss

BG, that is SO good lookin' !! I didn't know you could get a bung for the xhorst so I'm thinking that all I need is an on-off bung switch and I could be sorted LOL I would imagine that pipe would raise merry hell in the parking underneath my building - a 7 on the richter scale...ooooh, I'm sooo tempted ! Security, to the basement ! Nurse....well.....NURSE !

Last pic looks like you've been at the body with the magic Mark wax (Swissol/Swizzol)...just converted a VW V6 4-motion owner to the stuff today after he'd seen my scoob. Great pics, great motor. Cheers !

couldn't have put it better myself Markus...we did turn some heads didn't we?!

Just get the Nur Spec R...its one seriously sexy bit of kit , so much so that I've twice found my neighbours 16 year old daughter cuddling the rear spoiler of my Prodrive STi7...she just loves the noise the blitz makes . Great!

BTW i found wrapping sum glass tape (ie heat proof) which has adhesive on 1 side around the bung stops any rattling, but the bleedin neighbours still say it's too loud (even thou it's only marginally lower tone or wotever on idle, i've compared & contrasted) can't u put old 1 back fek off i believe is the term I LURVE DAT SOUND!!!!!!!!!

Hi Big Goon,

Can you please tell me the exact size, model# etc of those rims They are awesome. I have to get a pair for my JDM STi-7 silver Don't worry I live in The Bahamas so I won't cramp your style

I have been trying to find some rims for my car but been having no luck

By the way, anyone know the standard size of the JDM STi-7 rim and tyre ?

Cheers,
Ray

Big Goon!

Fantastic sound made by the exhaust! Did you record the sounds from inside the car or outside? I am considering getting one, but if that is the sound it makes inside the car...not sure if I want to be deafened. Also, is that with or without the bung?

I run this pipe on my type r with a scoobysport downpipe.....................

It is truly deafening.........all the car alarms go off in my close when i fire it up.

Have to keep the baffle in for day to day driving as its too loud for commuting without it. Come the weekend its removed and the flat 4 is as deep as barry whites voice!!!!!!!!!!1

no need for ice!!!!!!!!
