If anyone knows if IM are bringing out a clutch that lasts longer than 15K miles, I would be interested.
I have had 1 under warranty already, at 17K and it needs another at 33K. My dealer tells me that IM are changing the components, is this true and when?

Idf approaching end of warranty period, (probably not with milage that low) I would consider asking mark@lateralperformance.co.uk about clutches.
He supplied me with an uprated clutch (which I havent been able to use yet) but from the reports of those who have, it is much much more capable than the standard clutch and iirc, price was similar.

555, has the dealer said whether it's the new one or not? If not I would wait until there is a different version available, or you will have the judder back again, after around 10K and it will be out of warranty by then.
Let us know.

The new clutch that's being talked about is for normanlly aspirated Imprezas, not turbos.
What IM have started to do for WRXs is replace the existing clutch assembly with a complete kit (pressure plate, clutch, flywheel and release bearings). The components are the same as your original equipment but have been assembled in a kit to ensure the best possible match to alleviate the nightmare judder.

It is Pulleyns. My replacement at 17K was supposed to be "an upgraded flywheel", turned out to be exactly the same as the original one, started juddering after another 12K.
Nick reckons that they are bringing out a different one, make sure this is what they have fitted, as he didn't seem to think it was available yet. May be worth calling IM?
Had great service from FRP, how about you?
