Hi all
Just got my first scooby, a 98 STI. Only one issue with it. It has an aftermarket dump valve fitted which makes loads of noise (but probably has little other benefit) I want to remove it but dont really know what standard standard parts replace it? Any help would be greatfully received.

If you have an aftermarket induction kit like a K&N or HKS air filter there is no way you can stopt the noise without putting back the standard air filter box which silences the dump valve with a resonator box.
If you have the standard air box and your dump valve is indeed a VTA dump valve then you can get lots of versions which will fit but make sur its a re-circulating one you buy.

Wink

Try Andy at grade-a subaru- he should be able to sort you out with a standard replacement for sensible money.
