Question

Hi
What does the DD field Knock Correction mean/imply?
What are safe values for it (mine seems to be either 0, or positive...).

Zero knock correction means there is no Timing alteration due to Knock. This means that the ECU thinks there is no Det (which is a good thing ). Positive Knock correction is ignition advance, I believe.

One of the two, positive, or negative, must be bad...?
I assume negative is bad, and positive good...?

How much +ve knock are you getting?

AFAIK small amounts are ok, .5 and 1% type readings.

Thanks Matt!
I've got an STi7, and the behaviour looks about the same, except that knock correction rarely if ever goes below 0...

Why is the MY00 graph so much different, does knock correction mean something else there...?
