Please help I am putting in my Dawes afm tomorrow and haven’t got a clue as to how to connect it. I have had it sat in the garage for a month now so its about time I had ago. I did a search and read all the posts about it but its all double Dutch to me. so could someone please explain in simple terms what to do, and where to connect the wires. Is the ECU best? Where is this and what do I connect to etc?

thanks

Paul

I changed my down pipe and clutch myself so not totally useless but I have no idea when it comes to wires!!!!

There are 2 ways of fitting it...

The first but not the prefered is to take the earth and the power direct from the battery, this is how i had my dawes set up, then take the signal from the o2 sensor but near the left hand side of the header tank, the wires from the o2 sensor meet at a plug around this area, i just taped into the 'WHITE' wire...

If you want to do it the other way by taking the wire at the ECU you want the white wire with silver strips....

When you get to the ECU you want B43 PIN 6 see pic bellow:

Dont get cought out like me, the first pin on B43 does not have a wire in it, its blank...

You can also take the power and earth at the ECU too..

Hope this helps mate
