That was the samco one. Besides insert a helicoil style thing into it.. Im ordering the one from jap innovations and Ill test it to 2 Bar, be a few weeks yet though... Go for the cheapest.. ** (now your becoming a northerner. You can stop it collapsing easily enough, depends on how bothered you are...

you are such a cheeky sod - I won't let you play in my car now
I am looking at making something - really big - however the GGR one is cheaper than the STi which I know works - but is expensive. If I do one I plan to remotely mount the Steering Header Tank - however this will be a bind - it may be cheaper/easier to buy one - if it is good.
The MRT STi Rally Car runs a very large pipe without remounting the header tank - however it does not seem to be for sale

Hello Trout,
I am using the induction Kit of the MY01 from SAMCO in my MY99.
Unitl now I had no problems with collapsing or sth else.
I am using a APS SR-30 Turbocharger at 1.2 max 1,4 bar.
Frank :-)

Mmmm - what I really need to know is - does the SAMCO/GGR induction pipe restrict high boost over 6,000rpm as the standard item kills it.
And by high, I mean HIGH!
David - I will be popping around to get your help with the remote mounting - from what I can see I need a couple of brackets one for the top of the pump and one for the bottom of the standard header tank - or get a new header. Will probably take the opportunity to fit a small cooler for the steering fluid - it gets very hot on track - although remotely mounting that will help a bit.

Trout are you after an induction setup similar to that of Andy F.'s ????? :
his inlet pipe is 75mm.
I have also mailed GGR (no response yet), to find the dimensions of the following parts:
Mounting the steering pump remotely shouldn't be that hard, I think this has already been done on the newer STi's.
