As per the subject title, considering a full Mongoose system including d/p for my MY94 STI 1, now that the backbox has a hole in it. Comments from other buyers much appreciated !

If you go for a full system the slip fit shouldn't really matter much unless you intend to change part of it at a later date. I have a full system. It sounds just the way I want it. Its loud enough without annoying the neighbours to much. The turbo spins up lower down the rev range, I get better acclereration, and about an extra 30 miles per tankful. The only down side for me is a slight melting of the rear bumper. If you want one go for it.

I've ran my mongoose for just over a year with a hks super powerflow kit, put it on the rollers today and got 238bhp at the f/w up from 208bhp. Stil I'm changing for a blitz nur spec next week with a scoobysport d/p.

Slip fit exhausts are a bollox. I hate em. Apart from that, Mongoose are OK, but Magnex is cheaper, and much better quality. The only thing about mongoose, is that they do have a wider range ( ie, they do ones for a legacy, and estate ) and are cheaper than Jap exhausts, but the quality doesnt even come close. Buy a Magnex. Best value around IMHO.
