Can sum1 tell me how hot the backbox can potentially get as i'm in need of sum tape to wrap my blitz silencer in to stop it rattling against the zaust while idleing which makes it sound naff. Best tape i managed 2 find in halfords was exhaust repair tape but is only suitable upto 177c which sounds a tad low?
Any forts please peaps?

sounds in the ball park, lots of things affect them, most useful when comparing cars of same spec.

will be high at cruise because of leaner running, on boost fuelling is increased considerably.
