My car has a scoobysport downpipe fitted with an Apexi full system.
The Apexi system has two small boxes in the centre section (presumably a silencer and a resonator??) which I am thinking of cutting out and repalcing with a length of straight pipe (the system is one piece from cat back so I can't just buy a de-resonated centre section).
Anyone got any idea if this is a bad idea or not? I WANT more noise (which I'm sure I'll get ) but will it have any adverse effect on the performance of the exhaust?

As long as the welds/joins are good there will be less chance of disturbing the flow.. apart from that you are looking at the cheapest/best way of doing this..
