Getting your zorst catless seems great to anyone interested in gaining a bit more performance from your car. Of course we all know to keep ya cats for MOT time, but what are these stories of on-the-spot road side checks on emmisions that I have been hearing about where your car can be immediately confiscated and you being fined £5,000!!!????.....is this true?...I guess it would knock the de-catting on the head overnight if true right?

section 5.5.1 (could be 5.5.2 -could wrong on number) of police road and traffic states that if you believe the test to be harmful to the vehicle you can defer it, and get a pink slip

Someone will post the link the site im sure, but basically your ok, just refuse to have it done at the side of the road, and take it to a mot station, where your CATTED scooby will pass

If you look at section 67 on the web page below it confirms what catflap said.
