help!.....torque settings for bolting block halves together??

as title, the bolts that hold the two halves of the block together, what are the torque settings?

or do you mean head bolts??

no the block mate, it is two halves.......otherwise how would the crank come out

From memory, something like 55lbft for the big ones, and 24 for the small ones. I'll check later.
They seem a hell of a lot tighter to remove, than the tightening torque figures suggest.

my comment isnt as stupid as yours sounded to me

How do you get the crank out of a CVH, or Vauxhall engine etc..

Whip the sump off.. and....

See what I meant?? without having seen the engine... but thinking about the stress the above way would put on the bearings it seems obvious..
