Interesting piece of kit here. Saw it on the Lancer message board. I wonder if they're going to make a kit for Subaru?

Looks great the evo version is about £500. I couldnt see any mention of a Impreza one but they did say they were developing them for Savanna RX-7 FC3S, Civic & Integra, no counting for some tastes eh?

This would be a nice kit to have on a scooby though wouldn't it? Perhaps if we all mail our request to the manufactuerer, they'd see a market in us and start the production right?

180,000 yen I’ve just done a currency conversion it said it was £950 king ell

I think I would save up a bit more and get a Possum Bourn gear kit from Town end garage and that’s Guaranteed not to break

You can get a dog engagement gear box from Quaife engineering for 2 grand, then you won't need the clutch either......

I've been looking at these for sometime,(about a year) and the web site hasn't changed in all that time..... does the company still exist.... I hope so.

sez it reduces the time to change gear by four!!!!!!

lol, speak to r19ket, looked into gearboxes a lot.

quaife is more than 2k and doesnt have a choice of ratios, plus it isnt straight cut, its semi helical, and even with a straight cut dog box, I would not recommend not using the clutch.

the mrt box is about 4k and then you have to add about 1k to have it assembled. there are cheaper options out there and also much more convenient ones. As I said, speak to Mark.

These sequentials are just auto gear changhers which allow you to avoid using the clutch or do a v quick change. believe hyperex had one in his monster 22B replica in japan.

Adam: Are you the guy who's got a mate.....

Seriously, you are the guy who told me about this guy you know who could fit me a sixth overdrive.... I never got any contact details for him. I will probably give him some business next year...

cheers.

a sixth over drive?

not me.

there is a guy on here who posts as adamm, was it him?

The only way I know of to fit six gears is to go for an sti 7 box and try to retro fit it.

I may have mentioned a way of changing just 5th to a higher overdrive gear.

nope wasn't me - more interested in having a none-exploding scooby than fancy gearchanges..
