Lambda Sensor?

I need to test the voltage of my Lambda sensor. Can someone tell me where to find it?.

What year? Later cars have it in the d/p (spark plug like thing visible around heatshield area), early ones in either the manifold or up-pipe...can't remember.

MY96 UK Turbo.
I can see the thing that looks like a spark plug behind the intercooler.
